need help with major home repairs, i'm a single mother of 3.
with one source of income. is there any programs that can help.

Contact your local housing authority or community development people.. There are MILLIONS of dollars out there for just what you want..

And don't take "NO" for an answer !!! If you have to call your congressmen... I'm assuming your low income.. The money is there. GO GET YOUR SHARE !!!

And don't ask for a 'LOAN'.. Get a 'GRANT' you don't pay back grants

there are numorous city,state,and federal programs out there.contact HUD,housing and urban developement.they will be able to help you with what you are looking for.my grandfather just had a new roof,attic insulation and vinyl replacement windows put in thru a HUD program called the northeast winterization project.also your town office should be able to direct you to any local programs taht may be available.such as church and community orginations.the goverment also has programs for no interest or 1% interest loans.there is so much out there,a little patience and determination will pay off in the long run.as stated earlier,be persistant and follow thru.good luck
