i have a little weight i do not want if i diet and exercise about how long will it take to make a difference

That is a pretty broad question. I don't know what it is that equates to "make a difference". Maybe tone up?, make it up a couple flights of stairs without being winded? It all starts by taking a good hard look in the mirror and making decisions about what you want to change, translate that to paper and ask yourself how you want to go about those changes, exercises, diet. Begin with some realistic goals! I'm going to walk 6 blocks after dinner every other night for 2 weeks. The most important thing to keep in mind is not to beat yourself up like your in Marine Corps boot camp, do it in such a way that you'll look forward to your program. Up the ante as you become comfortable with your progress and fitness, keep it fun and try to make it a part of your daily life for life.
