-Don't transplant it doesn't care for root disturbance.
Water well in dry weather. It can be sown at regular intervals about every 4 weeks for continuous supplies but I get several cuts from mine by regular cropping. I leave one plant to grow on to produce flowers and seed pods for collecting seeds for future sowings. Let the pods dry out on the plant then snap them off , either store the pods whole in paper bags and shake out seeds when dried out or split open pods and remove seeds and store in paper bags.
-Because it is a small plant needing little space it can be grown in pots: like all container plants keep well watered and cut regularly to prevent pods forming and keep its looks. You will get several cuts. If you want to grow a plant on for collecting seed - be prepared - the flower stems get quite tall ( about 2 feet high) and are straggly and will look untidy when the pods are forming.
-Pick the leaves regularly - it grows as a rosette of leaves with a flower stalk at the centre. Try to stop it getting to the flowering stage, You can still harvest it while it is forming flowerbuds - just strip the leaves from the flower stems and discard the stems (compost).
