No, but they could dicress it maybe,The police work on some weird targets and bonuses and because of this they don't catch real criminals they just get convictions on kids, nice guys, and dossers.I saw 6 coppers last night arresting a tramp in the town centre(little old man) surely they could have used two coppers.how much did the wages cost to arrest him and what will the get back on a druken disorderly charge!
That will go do as one less crime on the street but there was probably a foreign student or somes house being robbed up the road(a real crime) which is to hard to get a conviction on so they leave it!
New perspective for coppers will work unless we want to spend more money arresting harmless criminals! they once spent 2000 arresting some for driving without due care and attention she got a 60 pound fine! great job lads the worlds now safer!

No. I think some kids are getting worse, the kids on the housing development where I live are a nightmare! Most of their parents don't care. When I was young we darn't answer an adult back! I see plenty of four year olds where I live as an ASBO in the making. You confront the kids and you get hurled with abuse and if you confront the parents, some don't care and some refuse to believe that their children are anything but angels.

Also...

Until there is a miracle made on the drugs wars, I personally won't feel safe on the streets. People being mugged of MP3 players and mobile phones and oportunist theiving is on the increase. I don't see much community spirit anymore. We seem to becoming a society of look after numero uno.

no i dont because i think as a country we are too soft on crime over here, we let the crimals off or out of jail in a few months for the most horrendous crimes they commit and the ones that are mentaslly disturbed seem tro get ignored to carry on assulting girls etc and they get off because of there mental state.

the goverment is only good at lookling after and protecting there selves they dont give toss about anyone else but themselfes.tony blaire is bloody uselss anyway, he spends more time creating havock and defrauding people with other people than protecting the public, who some of them think hes the dogg b......ocks.

one thing america has got thats bloody good is there police force out there , we couldd do with taking a leaf out of there books.

There is a lot of debate about whether prison is to punish or rehabilitate. i think that prison should be used to remove those that cannot behave in a sociable manner. Once the antisocial are gone, the crime will go down.

Legalising drugs so that they are dispensed properly and taxed would take a lot of money from and thus reduce organised crime.

No, children are not born bad, but until the family courts act in the interest of the child and not in the interest mother then children will be brought up with scewed up idea's on life, in short, until the Goverment sort out and act on behalf of children then the crime rate will keep going up.

nicely, i'm sorry to say that the violence that takes position at present beggers perception. it style of feels to me that we'd want to anticipate a very severe crime to ensue before the Police take any action. it is not secure to stroll alongside the line now and again the position I stay. it is finished of thieves, the ladies of the nighttime, scale back crawlers, drug sellers, drug addicts and someone attempting to %. a wrestle with some different person. i imagine that England has lengthy gone to the dogs.

Able to - yes... But willing to...? - I doubt it...!

Because the ONLY way to do it is to bring in a policing policy of Zero Tolerance - while, at the same time, elevating the moral standards of TV, video and the media...

Which - in a capitalist world, wholly dependent on greed and self-indulgence to drive market forces and increase spending - ain't likely...!!!

Boot camp is the answer.
Scare the s**t out of the little monsters that walk around thinking they are cool and untouchable. It would free up the prisons a bit too!

the laws are to week and have not progressed with the modern way of life. Also our police force has so much paper work to complete when they catch a crook they do not have enough time.

No.The only way to stop these scumbags is for people to form their own community defence committees. We know who the filth are,we know where they hang-out,we know where they live. Why should we let a minority scum make life a misery for the rest of us.We should visit them,& 'talk' them out of their bad behaviour.
