I think black eyeliner is the best to achieve a punk look. It is a good idea to take the time to master liquid eyeliner for the results will look much more professional. Don't be afraid to shave off your eyebrows; assuming you know how to draw them good. Look everywhere for inspiration. Don't worry if your makeup could feel just as home in the goth/cyber/scene lifestyle. If you have the music, attitude, look: Why feel weird?

Steps
Look up the meaning of "punk" somewhere. Articles that people put on sites and forum posts are the best. Don't pay any attention to people who type in "l33t," "chatspeak," or use many shortcuts for words, or have many spelling errors. These people are not reliable.

Wear your hair down. Go hard on the eyeliner (and/or funky eye shadow), but don't spend too much time on how you look. After all, if people don't like you for who you are, why be friends with them? They obviously don't really care about you.
Listen to what you want, but not the crappy mainstream pop, poppy punk, and rap because they do it for money and the music is not really /real/.
Wear the clothes you want to wear, and don't listen to anyone. Converse are okay, but any kind of shoe will do. Don't buy Hollister, A&F or other too-expensive brands. don't go for brand name--that's supporting already grossly rich jerks. recycle! go shop at a thrift store. Besides, it's cheaper.

Punk is about being who you are. Don't care about what people are saying.
The main point is that you are okay with yourself, and don't care if other judge you. That is, if you really are different from the way people judge you. If you really are mean, then don't deny it if ever accused.
Keep in mind that labeling is okay, but discrimination based solely upon someone's label is wrong.

actually, you shouldn't judge people by their label. be friends with everyone who has a nice personality. who the hell cares what music they listen to, where they shop? it's their choice and if they don't agree with your opinions--well then you're making yourself a more rounded person.

The more expensive brands will stay on for longer.
Also stage makeup specialists will be able to provide you with some really really great pencils.
You need one that glides on easily, but doesnt clump, and that stays on all day.
Chanel and MAC make some really nice eyeliners.
Ben Nye and Kryolan are two of my favourite stage makeup specialists.

I used many a different kind back in the days, but the cheaper ones just look tacky and not so cool.
If you wanna look punk, you should do it properly, not cheap and nastily.

You are so off. You just don't get it. Being punk isn't about make up! It is a way of life with its own POLITICAL opinions. Punks are very socially minded and no amount of eyeliner will cover up your ignorance.

it is tougher to apply liquid eyeliner on the backside of your eyes. maximum folk have a tendency to get it interior thier eye =/ the secret's to no longer to tug down the backside of the floor around your eye the way you will possibly with a pencil eyeliner. to make it greater emo/punk, basically make it a sprint thicker than you regularly might. solid success =]

use waterproof mascara, cover girl has that pink bottle use a small pointed q-tip to apply . Warning its hard to remove , mary kay has an eyemakeup remover theat gets it off easily.
