Does getting my period 4 days after sex rule out getting pregnant/missing my period the next month. And I am having heavy bleeding.

There is NO WAY that you are pregnant! As soon as you have your period...you are not pregnant...ESPECIALLY if it is heavy. (If you were only "spotting," / had VERY LITTLE, then you could be.)

And, um...the "little guys" / sperm....can't survive more than several hours, so they are now going out with everything else that is leaving you right now.

You're not pregnant.

First, most of us are not doctors. So, take what we say with some doubt.

Second: If you had sex on 15th, those swimmers had time to meet their mate. However, with your period starting so closely to that time, you say 18th, any results would have not had time to implant in the lining of your uterus and start developing. So, the odds are you're not pregnant because everything is flowing out of you. That's not the safest way to avoid pregnancy. Good but.... Better would be just a day before, during (ok messy), immediately after (a few days) and NOT after one (maybe two) week(s) from your period, if you're 'normal' cycle. Heavy bleeding no much or nothing to do with it.

If you got your period, than your not pregnant. Especially if there is heavy bleeding. Doesnt seem like you will be missing your period next month or pregnant unless you have unprotected sex after this period. Oh, and on rare occasions some people have gotten pregnant from sex while on their periods. I would talk to your doctor or go to the library. good luck

I can see you've already had a lot of answers to this question but some of them were so silly and flat out wrong that I felt compelled to answer you anyway. YOU CAN GET PREGNANT AT ANY TIME. Getting your period does NOT mean you are NOT pregnant. You CAN get your period and still be pregnant. You can get pregnant on your period, too.

Any time you have unprotected sex there is a risk of pregnancy. You can wait two weeks and take a pregnancy test if you're not sure.

If your period was ON time and the only time you had sex since your last period was 3 days before this period the odds of pregnancy are extremely low

theoretically, you can. Even if you are on period, there are small possibilities to get pregnant. To be sure, test your urine in about 7-14 days with a simple pregnant tester.

If you get your period after you'd had sex then your not pregnant because there wasn't any fertilization.

Most probably not. The odds are 87 to 1.

You need some serious sex education. Try your local library.

YOURE AN IDIOT. If you have gotten your period then you cant be PREGNANT. If youre REALLY WORRIED ABOUT GETTING PREGNANT USE PROTECTION.
