My VA doctor says I should file some claims.

IF YOU ASK ME ANYONE THAT FIGHTS FOR OUR COUNTRY DESERVES HONORS IN THE HIGHEST REGARDS I WOULDN'T CALL ANYTHING THAT THEY RECEIVE A "FREE HANDOUT" THESE MEN AND WOMEN HAVE BRAVELY STOOD UP AND FOUGHT SO THOSE WHO WANT TO STAND ON THE PROTEST LINE AND ***** ABOUT WAR OR WHATEVER THE BITCHY GRIP OF THE DAY IS CAN HAVE "FREEDOM OF SPEACH! YOU KNOW THAT THING THAT OUR SOILDERS FIGHT FOR. I THINK THAT ANYONE WHO HAS SERVED IN THE ARMED SERVICES SHOULD NOT HAVE TO WORRY ABOUT HEALTH CARE,SALARY,A HOME AND THE NEEDS OF THEIR FAMILY FOR THE REST OF ETERNITY!!!!!!!!!!!!!SO IN A NUTSHELL I THINK YOU SHOULD HAVE ANYTHING THAT YOU CAN GET!!AND A MILLION TIMES MORE!!THANK YOU FROM THE BOTTOM OF MY HEART AND THAT OF MY FAMILY TOO!!

If you had been injured by a bullet or shrapnel, etc, do you think that your care would be a handout?

NOT! We owe it to every one in our Military.

Please keep this in mind.
When you are on active duty in a war zone, you are responsible for not only your own safety, as much as you can be, but you are also "your brother's keeper".

Let me site an example.
In WW II, I had a friend, served in Guadalcanal. He went for more ammo. Foolishly took a short way, into crossfire. Two Marines were killed , saving his life.

He lived with that mistake the rest of his life.

No, not handouts. You earned it. File the claims. We don't mind.

Take your doctors advise, you're a sick puppy. I can't believe you are in the military and still on active status.
