First thing I thought when I seen Blue Jays dropped him.

Absolutely not, he did not leave the Red Sox on frinedly terms and I believe the last time the Blue Jays and Red Sox played he was running his mouth about how they disrespected him and all that. So, that would never happen in a million years and if it does I will bow to you.

No, Hillenbrand was a Red Sox under the pre-Epstein reign. If he could pitch, maybe. That is going to be their next acquisition. The Blue Jays dropped him for being bad in the club house. I just listened to the Jays pre-game show over the internet. J.P.Ricciardi really trashed him. I think the Angels could use a third baseman with a reliable bat.

Not the Red Sox. I'm not sure if there's enough room. But --

Shea might go to the Indians, considering that Boone is only batting .256 with 5 homers. Plus, Cleveland needs another solid bat against lefties -- not Kelly Shoppach. Hillenbrand is hitting .337 this year against southpaws.

Just listening to Larry Luchino on the radio as I type this. Hillenbrand doesn't really fit in with the Sox orginizational structure and has struggled in big market environments... Say hello to Baltimore Shea (just my opinion there).

Why would they pick up Hillenbrand? They have a great third baseman and they need starting pitching. It wouldnt make any sense to get Shea.

Shea's OB% is way to low for what the red sox are looking for. If it was 2 weeks ago I would say maybe, but now that Willy Mo is back, he can give Youk a blow at first from time to time.

Where do they play this high maintenance crybaby?

He isn't going to be content being a bench player. And I don't want to the the Red Sox bench Lowell or Youkillis for this guy.
