The hair on our bodies has specific functions. Some of these are:-
1. Form an insulating coat on the body. Trap a layer of still air just outside the skin, and thereby reduce loss of heat by radiation.
2. Absorb harmful radiations from the sun.
3. Keep out coarse dust particles, as in eyelashes, hair in the nasal chambers and ear canals.
4. Eyebrows prevent water or perspiration from falling into eyes, due to their particular direction.
5. Axillary and pubic hair lessen friction between limbs and body, and between limbs during locomotion.
6. Axillary hair provide large surface area for evaporation of sweat.
7. Beautify the body (otherwise why people do not shave off their hair from the head completely; bald men are desperate and would pay any price to get back hair on their heads).
Beard and moustaches are for differentiation of sex. Mostly males are decorated in nature, e.g. lion, peacock and other birds, deer, etc.

Not sure what the question is? I mean lots of people dont have much body hair or some not at all due to a disease or condition. Or simply havent been thru puberty yet. Im guessing you feel insecure about this and thats why you put it out there? I think we should embrace what makes us different in any form. Learn to just go with the flow and love yourself. Hope that helps

Body hair is an isolation matter, as well as an esthetic factor for instinctual part of human. If we had no body hair we would be less resistant to cold and wind also our ability to hold body odor would be lessened greatly, that might be a pluss but on the down side, we need feramons to communicate through the instinctual part of us.

i'm no scientist or medical specialist, yet my feeling is that the common cutting-side day man or woman has so little hair on their body, that i will't see how the hairs can make any significant enormous difference to body temperature. genuinely you'll choose a coat like protecting of hair to save you warmth? because of this we placed on outfits - to save us warmth. i imagine the hair is only a legacy of before situations in human evolution. How and why we lost our genuine hair is anybody's wager.
