2. The atmosphere scatters the blue from the sun completely. The red part goes almost over a straight line.

The sky is blue partly because air scatters short-wavelength light in preference to longer wavelengths. Where the sunlight is nearly tangent to the Earth's surface, the light's path through the atmosphere is so long that much of the blue and even yellow light is scattered out, leaving the sun rays and the clouds it illuminates red, at sunrise and sunset.

because the EM (electro-magnetic) radiation that eminates from Sol (our star system's sun) that reaches the Earth's surface has more EM radiation in the shorter wavelengths that by the human eye are percieved as blue. Other wavelengths are scattered by the Earth's atmosphere by Raleigh scattering.
Sol is a black body radiator - it throws out EM radiation of all wavelenghts. (not just that which we percieve as blue). So for our sky to appear blue as it does, there must be more radiation in those wavelengths that reach the surface.
It is not because the sky reflects the water - that notion is absurd.

Because the universe is dark blue but there is light do not get reflected because no air in universe. Earth has an atmosphere, almost opaque in colour thats why sun's rays reflect the colour of universe.

Due to the curvature of the earth and the refraction of light as it enters our atmosphere. It is not necessarily blue per-say by physicality more so that it appears blue due to the selective prism type of effect cause by light entering our atmosphere. Thusly is not due to radiation, or the simple fact that it reflects the water lastly God did not merely create it to be this color or that color but more through our understanding of his Laws (i.e. physics-in other words our understanding is subject to change when better versions of scientific truth come along) it seems we better relate to the reality surrounding us. Cheers!

because of the effect called scattering which scatters the blue light from seven colours of sunlight (Violet Indigo Blue Green Yellow Orange Red - VIBGYOR) in the atmosphere of earth.
i agree with 'shakir s'. he has the right link for u. would be the sme from me.
