What would you do if you cheated on your husband and lied about it to him and he asked you to take a lie detector test

Fess up. You're caught he knows it. Don't put yourself though the drama of a lie detector test. But be ready for a blowout fight and probably divorce.
You played and you got caught so now you have to live with the consequences. Who knows maybe he will try to make it work.

Tell him the truth before the test. You will have to face the consequences and he might leave you but you will have to accept that. You could always tell him that he should trust you if he loved you but ultimatley the truth will come out and it will be better if it comes from you. Obviously trust has always been an issue in your relationship or he wouldnt be asking you to take a lie detector test in the first place. I hope everything works out fo ryou and whatever you do, follow your heart

Relax, lie detectors only have 70% chances of success. They work by detecting the brain for a particular hormone that is secreted when one recognize something, in this case, cheating. The trick to fool lie detectors is to close one's mind to all thoughts to a such level of indifference that the hormone would not be secreted. Not thinking of anything is a viciously difficult thing to do. But impossible is impossible. One'll only need to practice.

before cheating, i would get the divorce first and foremost. then dont have to cheat.
TELL THE TRUTH NOW. THAT YOU DID CHEAT AND SAY YOU WANT A DIVORCE TOO. GET ONE ANYWAY. YOU ARE NOT HAPPY WITH YOUR MARRIAGE, BECAUSE YOU HAVE CHEATED.

just tell him the truth before taking the test. If you refuse to take the test, he'll know you cheated on him anyway.

I would never cheat on my husband, so I'll never have to worry about it. Looks like you're screwed. Too bad you didn't take marriage seriously.........apparently you're not mature enough for it.
