I need stay on eyeshadow, cause the brand that I use normally smudges 1, 2 hours after I'm out (usually use 2 colours on my eyelids). Or do I need to brush some powder on my lids to keep the shadow in place?
Many thanks in advance.

Take advantage of the shadows you have now by using a primer like Urban Decay's Primer Potion. My eyelids would get oily and nothing would last until I used this. This primer is excellent, and makes shadow last all day without budging or creasing.

It retails for $14 USD and is available at Sephora.

Yes, it does help to powder your eyes before applying eyeshadow.
It also helps to put a lighter colour down as base, for the pigmented colour to stick to.

Im not sure how much you want to spend... but my all time favourite eyeshadows are MAC and Ben Nye.
Ben Nye is a professional makeup company, and can be bought online or from specialist stores. They have truly amazing colours, and are so finely pigmented that they stay on all day, all night and half the next day (if thats how long you need it on for).
They also make a 'final spray' which you can spray (from a distance) onto your face to make your makeup stay in place.

One thing that is important when applying eyeshadow is that you really do get enough powder on, and if possible avoid putting liquid foundation on your eyelids, if your eyelids sweat, the colour can dry in the creases, and look terrible. So lots of pre powdering!

Hi! Mary Kay has the greatest lasting eyeshadows, BUT they have a product called Eye primer, which you put on first before anything goes on your eyelid and let it dry and it keeps eyeshadow from wearing off, smudging, or creasing! Mary Kay also has Eyesicles, 3 colors that are great! Check out my website and look under Makeup and then Eyes!

The real key in keep eye-shadow on is a good eye-shadow base. It also keeps eye shadow from creasing and keeps the color true. I like

because the formula is the same as the expensive eye primers but the price is about 50% cheaper.
