We'd freeze. And hurl off aimlessly into space. Kind of like swinging a baseball tied to a string around and around and then letting go. No sun to orbit? We become a big, frozen asteroid.
Why do you ask? We're not behind on our Intergalactic Utilities Bill again, are we? Oh that was a close one last time...

It is important to understand that the whole universe, as for as we know, is in a state of dynamic equilibrium. Also it is known to be expanding. Let us consider our solar system. Sun which is a star is at its centre(strictly at one of the foci of the elliptical orbit) and all the planets are in a state of dynamic equilibrium. Laws of motion that operate here are the Kepler's laws of planetary motion. All planets go round the sun in elliptical orbits with sun at one of its foci. Sun's grvitational pull keeps them in the orbit. It is impossible for our planetary system to exist with out the sun. For a moment imagine sun is not there. In other words gravitational pull ends. What would happen? Earth deviod of gravitation will continue to move in straight line as per Newtons first law(inertia). Since sun's radiation is missing plants will no longer be able to execute the process of photosynthesis there by breaking down the oxygen carbo-di-oxide cycle. With out Oxygen all living species on earth will perish. Also due absence of sun's radiation temperatures will drop and the oceans will freeze.(There will also be no atmosphere since every thing will freeze). That will be the end of marine life. Thus earth will become a cold dead planet. On its straight path if and when earth comes in to the gravitational field of another star it will again go in to an elliptical (hopefully-it could be parabolic or hyperbolic too)orbit around the star. The radiation will increase temperatures and icebergs will melt. It ofcourse will depend on the distance earth from the new star. The process of life hopefully resumes afresh provided conditions are conducive. This is the scenario that will unfold if sun disappears suddenly!

Actually, the Sun WILL burn itself out, in another 3 to 5 billion years. It will flame out, probably cooking the planet, and then die down into a big dark lump. The Earth will either have been burned away or will be just a very, cold, dark, lifeless lump.
But you can still buy green bananas - it's not for a LONG time! :)

It's called A Nuclear Winter & survival of the Human Race in such an environment would B V slim.
Last I heard the Rich, who R fully aware of the damage they're causing this planet , will B off 2 live on another planet they THINK they can inhabit.
They seriously think the more money they throw at it the more likely they R 2 survive on a space-station/Moon until that planet is ready!

if no sun then nothing
sun is the sole source of energy for all living creatures
so end of sun brings a simultaneous end of everything
the world would b like some other planet without any life on it
and deprived of all its beauty!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

If there is no sun, there will be no light and hence plants will not grow and the entire water, air cycles are damaged.Hence all will die bcz of this reason.

The world would freeze and the ozone layer disserpate, every thing on this planet would die without sunlight and the heat provided by it. Sucks indeed.
