It is a common fact that pregnancy appears even if the women still have their period ( bleeding over the pregnancy). So it is funny how men still answer no its not possible ( scary if its a woman saying that). Maybe thats why.. in some cases they just let things happens and find themselves dads/moms few months later.
My friend who is 25 years old had her period untill she was in almost 3th months. She didnt know, had no suspicion about.. no morning sicks.. on a rutine control she found out she is pregnant.
So my advice is to make a pregnancy test anyway...and if you are not sure yet .. for your own comfort ..visit a doctor. Its better to know now than find yourself pregnant after 3 months.

This seems to be a common question :)
Period while pregnant- no
Bleeding while pregnant- yes and call your care provider ASAP
This is why it is not possible to have your period while pregnant: the bleeding while you have your period is due to the uterus discarding the uterine lining it does not need as you are not pregnant. You can however, have spotting or bleeding while you are pregnant. If there is enough blood to make you think you have your period, that is very worrisome-call your midwife or doctor immediately.

Hi there.
I have been pregnant twice.
I did not have my period while I was pregnant, but yes it is possible. Some women have periods for the whole nine months of pregnancy. Rather go for blood tests. Even a home pregnancy test can show that she is pregnant, although if she's not.
Stressfull hey?
I know the feeling. Good luck!

Yes, you can. I have known a few people who have maintained there period all the way up until there 7th to 8th month of pregnancy. If it is something you are overly worried about, I would suggest an appointment with your doctor.

it is very very very rare to have periods while pregnant. Related to a couple of rare diseases, or severe hormone imbalances. Stuff like that.
your friend is probably not pregnant.
but if she keeps having unprotected sex, she will get pregnant. Or an STD. Or both.

most likely she has abortion...which can be more of threatened abortion ..a temporary disturbence. But sintificaly it is not possible to have periods when you are pregnant. The reason is the harmonal fluctuations wich cause periods are simply suspendd.
