You can clear your History and cache, and you can wipe the space they occupied on your hard disk with Clean Sweep. But your ISP will probably keep a track, at least for a short time, of the internet sites you've visitied, and if any of these are illegal sites subject to investigation by the authorities, it may be possible for them to trace you. If all you're worried about is avoiding your family from seeing where you've been, History and cache should do it. They may still wonder why you have a clear cache all the time though, which speaks for itself.

There's no complete way of cleaning your activity on the net....
Anyways, since you already know the normal procedure most follow, I wont have anything to tell you any....
But dont consider downloading those fake programs on the net... Half of them have spywares/adwares.... Others dont delete everything, just save them in backup copies and say that they deleted the stuff.....
If you're so paranoid, I'd suggest that you regularly clear history, delete cookies, and delte the files in your TEMP folder... (Temporary Internet Files)
