Reading your respondents so far, makes me wonder whether you aren't just getting what appears to be the populist view. They seem to have been indoctrinated by the TV media and educationalists, into holding an anti- Israeli position.
The answer to your question is determined largely by the way the TV news media report events and, as this is largely anti-Israeli, then this is bound to have an affect on how they are perceived.

I am totally against Isreali action in both the Palestinian Territories and Lebanon, but it is the Isreali state I have a problem with not Jewish people.

I don't think this changes a thing. The same people who cry and rant about dead arabs, dance in the streets for joy when it's jews who die. Why doesn't anyone say anything about the willingness of Hezbolah to sacrifice the Lebanese people for thier master's(Iran) cause?

I think that it will turn into a case of saying you are jewish and feeling yourself cring its the same with saying your muslim bcs you dont know what people are thinking or feeling about you ....just like it used to be when there was apartheid. IF you were a white south african you would feel uncomfortable saying it bcs you didnt know what was going through everyones mind once you admitted your nationality

it seems to me that if the Israelis did not murder innocent women and children, destroy peoples homes steal their land and impose extreme hardship on the Palestinians and the Lebanese this war would not happen
