We all HOPE that the answers we give affect the person asking the question... in some way. We hope a PROFOUND way. If the answer doesn't make the person think or give them a fresh perspective or alternatively shock or amuse... then what's the point.

Sometimes a good dose of REALITY is called for.

In that case... if their feelings get hurt... it's a small price to pay. I'd expect to "pay it" if I really wanted to know the truth... but was too "close" or two inexperienced to be able to "get it" on my own.

Yes, but the person should not take it very seriously. Discernment is the key. You should not be affected by others' views especially if they get so extreme. Stupid questions get stupid answers also. So it really all depends.

yes always especially if the question is related to something very serious,i want people to remember that we are just offering our advise and opinion, we are not doctors , well not me anyways.
and yes i feel, so many people here abuse people and say horrible things, i guess those people have some serious issues to sit at home behind their pc screen and make fun of or say mean things to people - yanno wot the world needs GENTLENESS more gentleness
