Listen carefully to what your teacher teaches you and if you have any doubt clear it then and there.
then when you come back home just go over the sums you have done and do it all once more...
be a teacher to your self and act as a teacher and teach your self
I don't advise tutors as they are a waste of time.......you learn nothing more from them other than what you learn from your teachers...
AND 1 THING IS THAT YOU HAVE TO DO A LOT OF PRACTISE....AND YOU CAN TOO ASK ELDERS TO HELP YOU OUT.....
TRY THIS METHOD OF LEARNING AND YOU WILL SEE THAT MATHS IS EASY.......
LET ME KNOW THE RESULT AFTER TRYING IT OUT!!!
BEST OF LUCK!!!!!

to improve ur maths u have to practice alot.Practice from ur book . Dont just stick to ur book practice from outside books. You can either buy a maths book or issue a book from the library.U just have to practice a lot or solve sums from the internet.

Firstly, pay attention to the lessons being discussed by your teacher.
Secondly, practice the exercises given to you
Thirdly, practice the exercises on your workbook even before your teacher asks you to. Ever heard of advance lessons? That works for me.
And if that fails....get your math teacher as your tutor. You might even beat him at his own lessons.

If you have a parent/older sibling/aunt/uncle etc. who is good at maths, get them to help. Otherwise, talk to your teacher or practise a lot (you can find questions on the internet).

evertime zou see a car pass by you, look at his plate, and sum up the numers on it.
If it has also letters, so assign to every letter a numer in alpha order (A=1, B=2, etc....)
sum up the numerbs and letters.
if you are good at it, then multiplicate the numers :)

sometimes working extra homework problems can help.
but if you don't understand, then a tutor is the best answer.
