My favorite is the red sox as well, but based on away attendance
the yankees are the most popular team. Over the past 5 years
the yankees have led the majors in away attendance 4 times (and
come is 2nd the other time) including this year.

The Yankees are the most popular. The White Sox, Red Sox, and Cubs are close behind with the Mets gaining ground with every win. I think the Braves have a pretty huge following too since they were good for so long.
I'm a Twins fan.

I support and have been a life long NY Yankee Fan.
But I would say the most popular team right now in baseball... I would have to say the Tigers and the White Sox... I see a lot of fans of those two team around.

I do like the Red Sox and the Cubbies, but I love my Tigers. I'm a diehard fan finally getting rewarded with some great baseball. I love it!!
