I just came back from a 8 week trip to Australia and New Zealand and I stayed in hostels the whole time. You will LOVE it. The hostels there are amazing...pools, hot tubs, game rooms, lots of movies, a travel office, computers....plus daily activities planned for guests.

Depends on where you are looking. Just do a search for youth hostels in the area you want to reserve it in. Or look for an international hostel site that gives you access to all different kinds of hostels.
