Is it possible to send an anonymous email without being traced back to you or the computer?

yes. Go to an internet cafe far far far away from your place and open a new account. When you fill up the form to open the account on line (ex. Yahoo) - do not put in your real name, don't use your real address, don't put in any information that can lead back to you. Open an email address and password that has totally no relation to you. when you've opened the account or when yahoo okays the account - then you can send something to someone. but never open that account in your own PC.

Nope, your ip is your computer id and its traked by your isp (internet service provider) so they way you can send an email is by going to the library or use a friends computer so he can get the trouble but not you! there are another ways to do it but cant tell you though (search google and type IP changer) . ;-)
