It never gives the satisfaction it promises. It leads to deep regret more often than not. It eats away your life and your time and energy that would be better spent on something productive.

I don't. Revenge is never sweet, well maybe only short term but you must remember the rule" what goes around comes around three fold ". so if you want to get revenge on this person i would think again as they will soon get their own back without your help

Revenge, like envy, jealousy or hate is a poison that will kill you slowly inside. The person who hurt you has moved on, don't give them power over you. Shake off the pain and move on. When the person sees they and their actions have no effect on you - that is the BEST revenge.
Besides revenge really is God's job!

I don't think about it. I gave up on that many years ago after a terrible, horriffic event happened in my life. For 5 years I felt revengeful and was determined to pay back the culprits who virtually ruined my world. It never came to pass as it was my own brother, mother & father. I loved them. They were wrong, but I conceded as I found through spiritual guidance how to forgive those who harmed us and make us the better person for it.I took the first step to repair the damage caused and generated by my brother, which graduated to my parents, for everyone's sake. GOD has not forsaken me. He has blessed me in many other ways for my good deeds and I have never forgotten that HE will always be there for me, to love me, guide me, and keep me safe always........

i would appreciate taking revenge. i belive in 'an eye for an eye' like our iron age forefathers. no 'forgiving and forgeting like the civilized people ' for me. you can say i'm a bit uncivilized and barbaric when it comes to this matter. maybe i will forgive a person if he apologizes , but i would never forget. no , i dont mean revenging petty things , i mean revenging someone who did you real wrong.

I don't think the brief moment of satisfaction is worth the karmic retribution.
And it's not worth the energy really. Better to go on with your life and be successful. As they say, "success" is the best revenge!

necessary but not enough.. it's only a temporary solution. you get the bad emotions out, but you hurt. what goes around comes around. so it's not a good thing to be done daily.
faith and no harming others has nothing to do with revenge, but it takes spiritual strength and lots of kindness. it's a state of being, not only a cheap solution.

Forgiveness is the best revenge. The culprit's guilt will do a greater damage than ur revenge can possibly do.

I believe in it.
But not the kind of revenge which justifies something illegal, that's going too far.
