^what specific research tools do profession researchers use. I already know google, wilki, the internet, but what other resources?

Google is good for general searching but for more academic searches Google Scholar is better. It depends on the field of study ... for example, there are some excellent online databases that are very useful in the biological sciences (bioinformatics is an active field). Other academic resources for journal searching are usually available through the university library ... online listings that allow abstract searching by keyword.

Real research dosnt use tools like wiki too often you know! Libraries and journals are much more useful and academicaly acceptable sources of information for proper research
