Open Internet Explorer browser go to Tools ->Internet Options. From there, on the last tab there is a title 'History'
You will find a button 'Clear History' Hit the button to delete all site addresses that you have previously visited.

You can also automatically set the computer to delete URL os sites visited after a certain amount of days,
Hope this helps.

If you want to remove or clear those then go to Tools,Internet options. In those options click clear history. You can also configure your browser to remember the addresses for a stipulated amount of time. If you don't want them to remember then enter 0 in the remembrance column.
Good luck.

You might wanna try to download
CCleaner, get it here-
http://www.ccleaner.com/download/builds....
choose Slim or Basic. it's free.

when you open CCleaner, you will have options both in IE, firefox, Opera, Flock Google toolbar etc

delete index.dat files as well as cache(history) and temporary files

ccleaner options>settings>secure deletion, choose 3 passes or 7 passes although this slows down cleaning.

or the conventional way of :-

Go to Tools>>Internet Options....

Temporary Internet Files>>Delete Files (or Go 'Settings' then 'view Files' to delete)

You might want to delete the cookies too....

and History>>Clear History
