Honestly hun, if you feel you have to test your partner, cause they aren't the same, you should also be looking at yourself. People change. Needs and wants change. I suggest sitting down with them and talking to them. Telling them how you feel. Be honest. If you don't think you could talk with them, then perhaps write them a letter or send an email. But if you let it go on for to long, you can grow apart. If this is someone that you really truely love, then you need to start communicating. Communication is a key element in any relationship. If you feel you have to test them, to make them prove there love to you, then perhaps the whole relationship is not worth it. I would suggest talking to them first. See how they are feeling. Make sure and listen though, to there wants and needs. If you are truely ment to be together, it will all work out.

People say they 'find' love, as if it were an object hidden by a rock. But love takes many forms, and it is never the same for any man and woman. What people find then is a certain love.
Love, like rain, can nourish from above, drenching couples with a soaking joy. But sometimes, under the angry heat of life, love dries on the surface and must nourish from below, tending to its roots, keeping itself alive.
Lost love is still love. It takes a different form, that's all. You can't see their smile or bring them food or tousle their hair or move them around a dance floor. But when those senses weaken, another heightens. Memory. Memory becomes your partner. You nurture it. You hold it. You dance with it.

If one feels the need to be 'testing' their partner, they are expecting disappointment, and will more than likely get it. If you feel the need to 'test' your partner, rise above it, walk away and keep your dignity
