Zen E: Scorp is a water sign...

Anyway, I am Scorpio and my boyfriend is a Taurus and we get along fabulously. He was actually born on the cusp though, so he's Aries/Taurus, but we make a good match. My best friend is a Taurus and we butt heads a bit though. She can't stand when I correct her lol. She calls the color magenta "magneta"....it irritates me....but she refuses to think I could be right lol. It's funny. I have learned to leave things alone with her though.

Scorpios (water sign) and Taurus (earth sign) sun sign people may be alike because they are both what we call in the Astrology world: FIXED SIGNS.

Taurus, Leo, Scorpio, and Aquarius are fixed in position. Stubborn. The Cardinal Signs, covered in the previous lesson, have the urge to go out and move. Fixed signs, however, would prefer to have everything move around them. The best description of these signs is: slow to get moving, impossible to stop. Once they start to move, get out of the way. They just keep going and going, like the energizer bunny.

TAURUS : Keywords are stubborn, materialistic, sensual. The most "fixed" of the fixed signs. People with several placements here (particularly Venus) incline to the more material, sensual side of life. It is opposite the sign.

SCORPIO : Keywords are secretive, obsessive, sexy. Scorpio loves to get secrets out of others, but just try to find out about THEIR private life! Forget it. Scorpio placements are good for any profession involving healing (death and rebirth) or investigating (detective, scientific investigations, etc.). The tendency to extremes affects other areas of the life as well. The negative side of Scorpio is jealously and vengeance.

Fixed
People with an emphasis on the fixed signs have a desire to build on what is already there and to organize it more efficiently. They tend to preserve a "status quo" and act in response to given circumstances.

Fixed signs: Leo, Aquarius, Scorpio, Taurus

Yes, because they are precisely opposite in the zodiac! Like Virgo and Pisces, Cancer and Capricorn, exc. They have the most to gain from friendships/relations with one another because they are alike in many aspects of their personality, but have differing perspectives and life paths that can benifit the others, but are a hard lesson to swallow. This makes it so they also have a LOT of tension between them beacause they ARE so alike, and yet have completely differing ideals. Just remember this rule: Opposites n the zodiac have the most benificial relations of any potential matches and can alter the other's look on life- if only they didn't conflict so much!

Yes, my husband is a Scorpio and my 22 year old son is a Taurus and they are forever butting heads. Neither one can ever admit that they're wrong and each of them thinks that their way of doing things is the ONLY way.

great passion together!!!

only problem is that Scorpio reveals so very little about self (secretive, mysterious), and Taurus wears heart on sleeve - will tell you anything and everything (too much information, even).
