I feel that the Royal Family are a tradition that needs to stay. It's what Makes the United Kingdom a kingdom. If it wasn't for them I'd be in the British Air Force, or something like that. I'm a patriot, and love everything British.

Unfortunately news on the royal family sells newspapers. I personally don't buy papers because some of what you read would have you living in a constant state of fear from the rubbish that you read!!

I dont know, im british, but really dont like the royals - but I do agree the papers do tend to suck up to them a bit.
Saying that, the papers do also seem to enjoy slating them if they make a mistake.
I could live quite happily without them, they may bring tourism to the country, but thats primarily london, so it doesnt affect me or anyone I know.
