asking for driver's license for a moped?

does anyone know or have heard if the salesman asks for your driver's license when you purchase a Moped?

do you know any good moped websites?

yeah but ONLY to buy one. not drive it (i know you need a license for that). but do they ask to see a license in order to buy it?
