If you like movies that make you think about certain issues going on in the world, I'd say get Crash, American History X, Higher Learning, Boys Don't Cry, If These Walls Could Talk (there are two of these), Remember the Titans, or A Time to Kill...to name a few. If you want to laugh Clerks, Waiting..., Tommy Boy, The Wedding Crashers, and Old School are a few of my favorites. If you'd like something scary get The Texas Chainsaw Massacre (the original version), The Exorcist, or House of a Thousand Corpes. Want to cry? Try The Notebook or maybe even The Green Mile (the ending always makes me tear up). Of course you could go with my all time favorite movie, Fight Club! Hope this helps.

It might sound pretty obvious but last year's "Crash" was very deserving of its Best Picture Oscar. Everybody should watch it once. If u like "Casino", then u should give "Goodfellas" a try.

I was really surprised, Running Scared was really good. Not the old one from the 80's (although that one was good too) but the one that just came out on DVD. It stars the guy from the original Fast and the Furious.

If you want a REALLY good movie and something everyone can watch..try..Second hand Lions..its awesome and not many people know of it..GREAT movie..try it

try the godfather 1-3 . one of my best is- good-fellas. alternatively a good humorous one is- my cousin Vinni starting Jo pesky it is really good
