I remember being a boy, and the stuff I did. I mean, I work on roofs for a living and that was nowhere near as dangerous as the stuff I did as a kid. But it would freak me out if my son did stuff like that, so how do we stop them or how do we deal with it. Or do we just get on with loving them and everything else melts into the ether?

I think johns right, you gotta let the kid get his scrapes, people telling you not to do somthing is just gonna make you wanna do it all the more, especially as a kid, but if you do it by yourself and get banged up alttle the next time youll either do it safer (smarter lol) or not at all, you gotta let boys be boys just step in when hes gonna do somthing thatll SERIOSLY hurt and/or kill him, thats where the obligation of a parent plays in, good luck at either rate i got a 4 month old son so ill be going through this 2 in a coupla years

god bless =)

The only way you can let your son grow is by letting him fall and stand up again by his own will and letting him learn from his own mistakes, but obviously if he goes too extreme, then thats the time you have to open his eyes and show him that what he is doing is too dangerous and then it will be up to him to follow what you told him.

good luck.
