only time will tell...........

Time, as we know it, is a simple cultural construct. It was invented by some turkey at some distant point in the past of humanity (yes, the past does exist).

Absolute Time (with a BIG T) probably does not exist, if you believe in a cosmos with no beginning and no end. As the circumstances of the Beginning are highly problematical, Absolute Time is also problematical.

The Present is gone as soon as you see it; so, for all intents and purposes, it is illusionary. Hence, it makes sense only to talk of the Past and the Future

I'm sure that: the past it's real because: how we can explain that we know some much about history( that was pharaoh:D...for example)...for present it's the same answer because we are here, we are now( I write something, I feel that and I think this answer..) and about the future: I BELIEVE IN :...it's something I want to be like I hope and I wish to be....

It's very real...and a topic that fascinates me...and there are many theories available...all of them interesting. I have a personal theory (in other words, not validated) that time moves backward to our past, then intersects with our present to move toward the future...which just took place as I write this to you. As you read this, it is my present...but is about to become your present (nice meeting you) and then it moves into the next moment which is our future but quickly just became our past. I suspect all things exist "in the moment"...and can only be measured in the moment...and that is all there is. Interesting, huh? [It kinda plays with you]

Maybe the more important question is: does it actually matter? It FEELS like time exists, our memories tell us about a past, we live the present, and we are expecting a future. So if somebody told you time didn't exist, would it change anything? Would you feel any differently? Probably not, right?

Probably not - I think it's all about motion and movement ... and we see/use time as a measure or a means of placing this motion in relation to itself...
In absolute zero, there would be no energy, no movement, no motion to measure, and so no time... things would just be in a snapshot, frozen... Perhaps moving close to 0°K in an enclosed capsule would give us the closest we can get to a 'time machine' ... or perhaps a 'time-slower' ... Maybe our kitchen freezers are a weak form of 'time-slower' as they 'slow' decay through reducing the energy for bacteria, and freezing the water molecules, etc... the motion is reduced at a visible level for us ...

But then again, I'm just an English teacher ...and definitely not a physicist or even a physics teacher !!! These are just my own thoughts ... But I think they are relatively lucid.

Time has nothing to do with reality. It is only a concept, a noun that points to another concept the past or future. The only thing that is real is this moment.

Hmmm...look at your watch. How long ago did you ask that question. What did you do this morning? What are you doing now? What will you be doing tomorrow? Past, present, future.

Time is real for the living, and there is a time for everything under the sun.

What are you trying to do ruin a Xmas carol? You are conjugating a verb and you think fewer tenses would be cool. Time is real to humans. To God, who knows?

No. Nothing ever has happened, is happening, or will happen.

Are you stupid? Do you think you are exploring some new school of thought? Accept that you are who you are and that you live in reality.
