After a long, difficult, painful 28 hours of labour, they placed my perfect little boy on my chest. Still covered in muck and stuff, but when he looked at me with his great big eyes, I knew I'd never forget that moment. All the pain disappeared, and all I felt was overwhelming love, I didn't even want them to take him away to clean him up.

Also, the first time my son called my boyfriend "daddy" - he isnot my son's natural father, but he loves him all the same. My son just looked at him and said - "Will you be my daddy, because all my friends at school have a daddy". When my bf said yes, my son said "Okay daddy, let's play dragons."

Just recently i got trapped in the fire exit and there's no door knob to go back in. It was raining heavily outside and if i dont think fast ill be soaked.

The only way out is to go down to the ground floor which looks like a dark well to me. Scary. i went up again and start knocking at the door and pray to God somebody hears me because its after office hours. Good thing someone is there. whew!!!

Deboarding the ship I was on.....walking towards the pier's visitors area.....and meeting for the first time the woman who waited for me and whom I took as my wife. That's unforgettable.

I hear Kelly Clarkson singing "A Moment Like This"

Peace.

when I was a kid my family was driving to Cape Cod and a van crossed over the barrier in the opposite direction and hit our car head on at 60 mph. this event changed our lives in so many ways. My step dad who was a private pilot lost his eye, broke his hip, and jaw, my sisters head was cracked and she lost a piece of her skull, my mom dislocated her cheek bone, and nothing happened to me, and I felt guilty for many years.
