Of the both, who you think produce the more best selling and creative songs?

The combination of Lennon and McCartney created songs (starting around Eleanor Rigby) that revolutionized popular music. Before that, most of the pop music was trivial and highly repetitive in terms of musical themes and concepts expressed in the lyrics.
After they split up, Paul continued to write "silly love songs" (in his own words) while John continued writing deeper stuff. So I think that answers the intent of your question: Paul produced more songs, but not many that were important. John was by far the more original talent.

That's a simple one, and it doesn't take a genius to figure out. John Lennon produced the more best selling and creative songs. Paul McCartney would be the first to tell you so. John wrote with depth of feeling, while Paul wrote light-heartedly. The one exception might be Yesterday, which came to Paul in a dream.

Well, since you said "is more creative" and not was, and John Lennon is deceased, I'd have to say Paul McCartney!

Definitely Paul McCartney because he's still alive and composing songs while John is dead singing "Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds", "Strawberryfields Forever" and "Imagine". Peace.

Equally talented as far as I see it! Yeah, Paul has sang and produced more songs but hes lived longer. Remember John has been gone since Dec.8, 1980.Nearly 26 years now. I believe had he lived we would definitely still be hearing from him!

let's see john wrote songs like"imagine" & "give peace a chance" paul wrote silly love songs & band on the run. I think I'll go with john lennon.

In my opinion,Paul is better melodically but in terms of creativity Hats off to John.
