Why is it acceptable for Americans to be so selfish to want more tax cuts and cuts to veterean funding.

Vetereans deserve benefits. Actually if I had worked for a corparation I would have gotten better benefits and better pay, but I wouldnt have gotten the satisfaction of serving my country.

Gotta keep the economy going. People have to have money to buy things so that everybody can have a job and be able to buy things and pay their bills. I am a 25 year veteran and quite frankly I believe that veterans get enough entitlements and benefits. Some veterans just think everybody should kiss their a$$ and give them everything. Quit whining and begging for handouts and be an adult.

A booming economy makes the collection of taxes less necessary.

Spending fuels the economy.

Put two and two together, and you realize that your question doesn't make sense...

Update:
Many veterans have better benefits than those that work with corporations. Also, tax cuts doesn't mean that you're cutting anything that the veterans get. Typically, the first things to go in a reduced budget are plans for expansion (new buildings for example) or jobs. The benefits themselves are the last items to be affected, and usually aren't.

Military benefits are actually quite good. Do you think that you are entitled to a lifetime of benefits because you served one term in the military? What private employer does that? Tax cuts generally increase spending which in turn improves the economy.
