Why would a married man who has told his wife he wants a divorce because he has fallen in love with his lover take his wife on a 5 day trip accross the country where they would be staying and sharing the same room? He basically told his wife.. "I'm in love with another woman and want a divorce".. Why would he still take her on this trip? Why would the wife still go?

Why would you think he has told her? He is putting you on hold. His intention is not to tell her. you are his whore and she is his madonna. That is an ancient and wellknown fact. Let him go - it's my best advice. Find yourself a nice guy whom you can rely on - really.

i hate to say this, but they never leave their wives, maybe your case is different. I think the truth is, he does not want to leave her at all, and maybe this trip is a way of freeing himself from his guilt of cheating on her with you.
the wife is going because she has no clue! ignorant bliss.
dont settle, dont be afraid to ask, but know what youre fighting for.

Because you retard...he hasn't really asked for a divorce and he hasn't told her he has a lover...He just told you that so you would stop pushing him to make a decision and so that he could still get in your pants.

because he doesn't really want a divorce - he just wants to scare the wife into submitting some more or perhaps he's just to CHICKEN to make the break and go with his new babe. if i were his wife, i'd kick his a** out right now.

JUST BECAUSE HE TOLD YOU THAT HE TOLD HER DOES NOT MEAN THAT HE ACTUALLY TOLD HER. PUT TWO AND TWO TOGETHER. HES MARRIED I DON'T THINK THAT THERE IS ANY POO-POO IN THE WORLD WORTH LEAVING YOUR MARRIAGE FOR. YOU ARE BEING STRUNG ALONG.
