LOVE IS A FEELING OF COMPLETE AND TOTAL BLISS, ITS TRUST AND COMPASSION FOR ONE ANOTHER, ITS THE FEELING YOU GET WHEN YOU WAKE UP IN THE MORNING AND CANT WAIT TO SEE YOUR SIGNIFICANT OTHER, ITS TRUST AND HONESTY, THATS WHAT LOVE IS

People say they 'find' love, as if it were an object hidden by a rock. But love takes many forms, and it is never the same for any man and woman. What people find then is a certain love.

Love, like rain, can nourish from above, drenching couples with a soaking joy. But sometimes, under the angry heat of life, love dries on the surface and must nourish from below, tending to its roots, keeping itself alive.

Lost love is still love. It takes a different form, that's all. You can't see their smile or bring them food or tousle their hair or move them around a dance floor. But when those senses weaken, another heightens. Memory. Memory becomes your partner. You nurture it. You hold it. You dance with it.

Here's a poem for you called "The Rose"

Some say love, it is a river, that drowns the tender reed.
Some say love, it is a razor, that leaves your soul to bleed.
Some say love, it is a hunger, an endless, aching need.
I say love; it is a flower, and you, its soul the seed.
It's a heart afraid of breaking, that never learns to dance;
It's the dream, afraid of waking, that never takes the chance;
It’s the one who won't be taken, who cannot seem to give;
And the soul, afraid of dying, that never learns to live.
When the night has been too lonely, and the road has been too long,
And you think that love is only for the lucky and the strong:
Just remember, in the winter, far beneath the bitter snows,
Lies the seed, that with the sun's love, in the Spring, becomes the rose.

In brief, love is everything or the soul of the universe.
If we consider love as a definable thing, we can define it as follows...But in fact it is a miracle..but a fact.

Just Go through these:

LOVE means..
1. A profoundly tender, passionate affection for another person.
2. A feeling of warm personal attachment or deep affection, as for a parent, child, or friend.
3. Sexual passion or desire.
4. A person toward whom love is felt; beloved person; sweetheart.
5. A love affair; an intensely amorous incident; amour.
7. A sexual intercourse; copulation.
8. Affectionate concern for the well-being of others: the love of one's neighbor.
9.Strong predilection, enthusiasm, or liking for anything: her love of books.
10.The object or thing so liked: The theater was her great love.
11.Tthe benevolent affection of God for His creatures, or the reverent affection due from them to God.

12.For love,
a. out of affection or liking; for pleasure.
b. without compensation; gratuitously: He took care of the poor for love.
13.In love, infused with or feeling deep affection or passion: a youth always in love.
14. To have a profoundly tender, passionate affection for (another person).
15. Tenderness, fondness, predilection, warmth, passion, adoration.

LOVE, AFFECTION, DEVOTION all mean a deep and enduring emotional regard, usually for another person. LOVE may apply to various kinds of regard: the charity of the Creator, reverent adoration toward God or toward a person, the relation of parent and child, the regard of friends for each other, romantic feelings for another person, etc. AFFECTION is a fondness for others that is enduring and tender, but calm. DEVOTION is an intense love and steadfast, enduring loyalty to a person; it may also imply consecration to a cause.

love is something wonderful that you may find and then the question is - can you learn whatever you need to learn to keep that love. my guess is that very few people are ever taught how to keep the love they find and help it grow - like a delicate plant. there are many places to learn how to keep love alive once you've got it so good luck.........

Love is always patient and kind; it is never jealous, love is never boastful or conceited; it is never rude or selfish; it does not take offense, and is not resentful. Love takes no pleasure in other people’s sins but delights in the truth; it is always ready to excuse, to trust, to hope, and to endure whatever comes. Love does not come to an end.

That extra special boost you get, which you might or might not need, but immensely enjoy anyway.... and which

Helps you live and grow instead of die and be still.

Helps in being dynamic and constructive, not static and destructive.

Helps in comprehensifying, not in breaking down into elements.

That of which heals, not hurts.

Wins the battles against hate, anger, bitterness, sadness and despair
Never loses grace nor poise.

Had any yet?

.................... lots more, but I'm too tired. Sorry.

I used to think it was a butterfly feeling you get in your stomach when someone comes around you. But those guys screwed me over so I think love is choosing to put someone before yourself for whatever reason.
