Since it kills people then it would be a great biological weapon! People are afraid of it because of what it does and the fact that they don't know much about it! If people knew more about it they wouldn't be as scared and would just take the necessary precautions to keep from getting it and spreading it. They would also try to help find and cure that would eventually would make it more like the common cold than a biological weapon!

it's natural disease. we just found out about it in1900 because our med knowledge are growing faster since the age of invention.
tell u what. i ever read a book about history of AIDS/HIV. believe it if u want.
so many men was send to africa (forgot the year). was it for military, i also forgot. but then he came back to his country brought in the disease. later it was found out that AIDS was one of a sexual transmitted disease and also found out that in monkey (baboon, gorilla, i don't quite remember it) blood, HIV can do infection but because of the different imunological response and different immunological teams, they gave difference condition with human. when they depressed our imun sistem with lymphocyte binding, it's not like that in monkey.
So, the assumption was that the men who were infected got it by anal sex with the animal.

It is not a biological weapon. Don't be a rumor monger, or a conspiracy nut.

I wouldn't say afraid. I've heard that, and other
ways it was thought to have started.
