musical ever! i'd like some feedback from other "rent lovers"!

I ADORE Rent! Its one of my favorite things in the world! I'm not a huge fan of the movie, but I really love the stage version. I've seen it ten times, with different casts, and its always amazing.
Are you just seeing the movie for the first time? [I was a little confused by your question, sorry!] The movie wasn't as bad as it could have been - a few years earlier there was a script buzzing around the Rent community that not only cut out most of the songs but involved JUSTIN TIMBERLAKE starring as Mark - but I was still very disappointed. The movie is a very mediocre one, and - with a story that original and good - it could have [and should have] been an amazing one. The only saving grace of the movie, I feel, is the cast - deciding to get almost the entire original Broadway cast of the movie was a very good decison!
Its still better than most movies, though. I mean, with a story like that, how could it be bad?
Who's your favorite character? I know that's probably a hard question, but I love talker to other Rent fans!
