Do you think the word 'love' has any meaning anymore? I mean it's SO over used. And now when I tried to tell my boyfriend 'I love you' He didn't freak out he seemed clam and relaxed like I say it all the time. It came so easily to him and it took me weeks to even consider it. Or maybe he was just positive about his feelings for me...

depends on the intent of the user. some folks can say it easily and a lot while others choke up or get scared. like anything, saying i love you can be a sincere offering or a manipulation and scam. same with how you hear it. you can hear it as something sincere or as some kind of 'game'. either way, i don't think love is ever over used if it really is love and not a 'trick'.

Yeah it is, some people i talk to in school say "i love you" to everyone they see in the halls they know their name of. It's like replacing "Hi" to catch someones attention. Like for example instead of "Hi Judy", its "I love you Judy"

If its real then it doesnt matter if it's over-used.. say it to your bf if you really mean it and dont think of anything else :P

I think everyone loves to hear there loved, but it can be very hard to say, my ex [whom I get along well with, I say it to him, but he can only say it to me after a dozen beer, oh well.
