I've heard CNN referred to as the crescent news network. It seems obvious that the media is liberally biased, and I was just wondering what your opinions are on the matter.

Well the facts that are given are not all the facts...I believe that their biase is implemented in such a way that many viewers do not even realize they are being given only the facts the network wants them to hear

Fox may lean a little to the right, but it seems conservative due to the fact that the other main news bureau's are leaning so far to the left.

Fox is as close you can get to "fair and balanced"

As Rush puts it, it's the "drive by" media.

There was a study published by UCLA that formed a standardized approach to gaging liberalism and conservatism in the media. The study took into account the main anchor news programs on the major networks, including the CBS Evening News, ABC World News Tonight, Special Report w/ Brit Hume.and many others. They looked at how many conservative and liberal think tanks were cited, and formed a rating based on the references made. ABC was found to be just slightly left of center and actually the closest to that point. CBS was way off the chart to the left. Fox News, of course, leaned to the right just a hair or two more further from center than ABC.

I apologize I don't have the link handy, but I'm sure you can search for it easily. The point is that, according to the study, most networks and media outlets do have a tendency to cite liberal think tanks over conservative. Only a very small number ended up right of center.

You can take that lightly with a grain of salt, as to how scientific and unbiased the study was. However, I think it's clear to a lot of people that are conservative that it's hard to pick up a local newspaper or watch CBS without feeling like it's tilted propanganda...

All of ur telivised media is controlled by jewish,
for example,They just show how many HEZB-ALAH rokets was througn on israel, and how many israelies were killed or injured, and they make a VERY BIG DEAL out of 1 or 2 israeli dead, and they make stories about them and their POOR families,
BUT they dont do the same with 300 lebanese and 100 palestinian casualties including 10s of kids&women and old ppl, since israel started its brutal attack.
israel is destroying, kiling and massacring an unarmed nation, with brutality never seen before,
but ur news comes out and try to convince the viwer that israel is poor ,& its defending itself(HEZB-ALAH,is located in south lebanon, but israel is bombing civ&infrastructure in the whole country from east to west!!!???its defending itself!!!hahahaha)
and all others r TERRORISTS.
its totally UNFAIR coverage,
maybe u can watch euronews or BBC,it a little better than american news

All news shows are biased. Those who claim otherwise are not only biased, but lying as well. Think for yourself. Hear the facts, not the opinions.

what's the difference between liberals and Conservatives? both bush and Kerry were in bones and skulls or something, a masonic group. USA is like the soviet union governed by one masonic party.
