I enjoy it so much! It's day 4 of sunshine here and heat that beat 100 years record as we made it to 33 centigrades (91 Farenheit)
So i'm loving it because it's so unusual! But my partner told me last night that he can't take anymore of it, he wished it could get cooler again, adding he'll never moan at winter cold ever again! To me it's great because i've been able to wash all my curtains, quilts, pillows and they dried out nicely and so quick in the sun! Then i have a little wooded area at the back of my garden (Leads to a wood) So i've put a relax chair there end enjoyed the shade and mountain breeze when feeling too hot! O and forst year in many when i've managed to get a bit of a tan! I've got a white mark on my writs, yes my watch strap! So all i can say is "Keep going i want more"

Its a love-hate thing with me,
hate working in it as we are not allowed to drink water on shift, so we are all getting headaches and feeling ill and tired. I dont like being this sweaty, im having 3 showers a day at the moment, and my plants are wilting in the garden. Im drianed of energy all the time and cannot be bothered to do anything.
On the plus side, we can use our garden, I see more of my neighbours who are lovely, got the BBQ out, the paddling pool, the sandpit is in use and my daughter is loving it.
Shame we dont have a nice beach near us, the nearest beach is Weston Super Mare which is a great beach, but the sea is mud and filth so you cant go in for a nice dip to cool off. The severn estuary is not exactly known for its swimming facilities.
I do prefer spring, when nature is bursting out, but im looking forward to autumn and cooler days, and being able to plunder the massive blackbery bushes near our house!

I'm finding it so funny reading news from the UK saying that workers should be allowed to abandon their suits in favour of shorts to go to work in. I'm Irish but I live in Turkey and we work all summer for at least 6 months of the year in sweltering heat - temperatures up to 40 degrees! We certainly don't go to work in our shorts just cos the temperatures are higher. Count yourselves lucky to have a bit of sun and enjoy it. It certainly won't last for long!! :)

The issue is not loving but enduring and appreciating nature.Think of those living in the desert, that is what they experience always.
