If the address bar is actually showing on your toolbar, there should be a grey-ish vertical line to the left of where it says Address (or to the right depending on where the address bar is sitting), left-click and drag this to the left (or right as above!) to open out the space for typing in the address you want.
To move the address bar to a new place on the toolbar area left-click on the word Address and drag it to where you want it to be. The address bar can be positioned on the same line as the rest of the tools, or it can be dragged above or below the main toolbar.

On the tool bar right click and tick.

click on view on top of screen then toolbars and check address bar

right click on where it should be and there should be a list...where it says "address bar" there should be a check mark next to it...if not click on it
