flies have several generations per year, in favourable conditions the cycle is about 2 months to adult fly. from egg to grub it is shorter, the egg hatches in about a week, then the maggot grows and grows 2-3-4 weeks, then the pupa for about 2 weeks. in less avourable conditions it takes lower

THIS DEPENDS ON THE OUTSIDE TEMPERATURE AND THE ENVIRONMENT THE EGG IS LAID IN... IF IT IS COLD OUT THEN IT TAKES LONGER... IF THERE ARE NO NUTRIENTS FOR THE GRUB TO EAT ON THEN IT WILL TAKE LONGER... IT ALL DEPENDS ON THESE FACTORS...
