Everybody's definition of romantic is different. Your hubby maybe doing something he thinks is romantic and yet it may be a turn off for you. The two of you needs to communicate what romantic is to the two of you.

It may be that he just doesn't pay enough attention to you, so he is not picking up on the blatantly obvious ways you want him to please you, or the things that you have told him clearly, and written down in step - by- step instructions.
Oh hang on? could it be that you communicate in a more subtle language than that? Men need direct instructions, Women pick up on hints and inuendo. He DOES need to pay more attention to you, for if he did, he may learn what you are yearning for, and then become romantic, but - just in case he doesn't I would suggest that you buy him a book of romantic ideas, and tell him it is not such a subtle hint. Tell him to read it and learn!

maybe if you try to be romantic he'll learn from you. Pick a night to do something special..like dress up in lingerie, light candles, have dinner, etc. If you do something big he'll really appreciate it and he might do the same for you.

Honey sorry to tell you this but you cant teach an old dog new tricks....If he doesnt have it in him he never will....Besides its the thought that counts, if you have to remind him to be romantic then it doesnt mean anything, it has to come from his willing heart. Sorry, but such as life, been there done that....

you should try being romantic to him first and maybe write him a letter telling him what you want him to do for you and what you like........ the problem may not be he's not romantic, it may be he just doesn't know how to be..

NO! It ain't him. Don't try to change him; it won't work. You're only other chance is to place him in a romantic environment and see what happens. If you want romance, you have to create it. If your idea of romance is him starting it, you're out of luck. Sometimes you have to work for what you want. Try romance yourself, if he likes it, he will reciprocate.

This question should go like this, "my boyfriend isnt' very romantic, should i marry him?" answer, "no." You get what you pay for. I'm sure he didn't change. Shouldn't have expected him to, so deal with it.
