It was from a complete stranger. I went through hurricane Ivan and I was new to the area to attended UWF. There were times when I had no idea how I was going to make ends meet. A friend of mine sisters friend sent me a $50 gift card to a store. That $50 has been re-sent in the form a $50 gift to the Tsunami victims and a $50 gift to the Katrina victims. How it became the sweetest thing is that it taught me how to give.

Apart from my dear mum putting up with my teenage years, it would have to be my boyfriend....
He took me on, with my hyperactive 4 year old son and loves us both unconditionally, that is sweet in itsself.
Also, when my puppy died of liver failure, he knew how much she had meant to me (she was my baby), and he gave me one of his kittens, so that I could have another "baby" to look after.
Another time was when his mum was dying in hospital, I had a really bad kidney infection at the same time. He sat with me for hours throughout all the tests etc.. going up to see his mum every few hours. I can't imagine how horrible it must have been for him, having us both in the same hospital, but he was there for us both.

I was extremely sick early one morning and I had stayed the night at my boyfriend's house. At about 5 a.m., I started vomiting really bad so he drove me about half an hour away to the ER and stayed with me for the whole eight hours I was there. He even missed work for me.

I guess that would be when my husband proposed to me. We were at a dinner theater and he asked the singing waitstaff to ask me in a song.
