MHz and GHz are measurements for the processor speed (clock speed) of a computer.

The computer with a 1.8 GHz processor is said to be faster than a computer with a 1.6 GHz processor.

1.8 GHz processor is capable of processing more information than a 1.6 GHz processor in one second.

there'll be a sturdy enormous difference between both processors, yet no longer sufficient to warrant one extra $2 hundred in my opinion. Having two times the cache reminiscence and a swifter clock % will translate into it being about 20-30% swifter than the different processor. except you're Gaming, doing severe-end video enhancing or three-D rendering you likely would not be able to inform a lot of a huge difference. so some distance because the improve to the LED show screen... in case you care about battery existence and popular weight, then spend the added funds on the LED show screen. there'll be quite no enormous difference in photo high quality between both, yet an LED backlight array will very last plenty longer than the classic CCFL backlight that maximum Laptops use.

I hope you meant GHz not MHz....but anyways if you're doing basic things like playing music, surfing the web, and checking e-mails, then the cheaper one should be the better bet. There really is no signifcant difference unless you were spending $2,500 and up.

it's all a bunch of hype to make you confused and spend more money. either one will be super fast, just go with the cheaper of the two and i guarantee it will be fine. if you can notice the difference in speed or performance between the two you may be a robot.
