How can I easily, and for free create a GIF file from pictures i have on my computer?

What im talking about is those little pictures that move, created from several pictures cliped together. There seen on myspace alot.

Gif Animator is free and easy to use to create the GIF89a files you need. You can use Adobe Image Ready too but is not free of course.

Two concepts you need to grasp in order to create animation files and that will be Tweening animation technique and Cel Animation (fram-by-frame) animation technique.

You can open the picture in MSPaint and then save it as a gif file.. Click save As and in file type select .gif. It says u'll lose some information say OK. If it is color, then some colors get distorted. Else you can use gimp. Check www.gimp.org or for windows www.gimp.org/windows

if u know flash key framing you can create as many as u want and can make them GIF animated. its very very easy.
