You will be taking her to see the best team in baseball this year. Would be a wonderful memory for her, as well as you. The comaraderie of a MLB ball park is wonderful for all ages. It's part of growing up in this country. At least it was for me growing up in Cleveland, Ohio with the Indians sucking all my life. But I enjoyed it at the old Municipal Stadium on Lake Erie all my life nonetheless. '54 Indians did it. I was born in '57. Still a die-hard fan. Take her to the game, Grampa.

I would take her. I would see if you could get there early and watch batting practice, maybe she could get an autograph. I still remember the first game my father took me too. Phillies vs. the Cardinals at the Vet. Larry Christenson hit a homerun, what a great day that was. My dad taught me how to keep score, what a day. The beauty of it is that if she ends up liking baseball you and her will have something in common and what a great thrill that will be when she is like 17 and just wants to go to ball games with you. However, be prepared to leave early if she’s not having fun or it’s just too much for her. .

Definitely. Comerica Park is the best stadium now that they have a competitive team. Never to soon to get the kids to like baseball. My wife remembers going to wrigley when she was a little girl and she now loves baseball. They have plenty of other things to do at the stadium besides the game as well. GO TIGERS

Maybe Major League is different, but I took my 5-year-old nephew to a triple A game and he was totally bored!
On the other hand, I have seen a lot of toddlers having lots of fun at Major League games. If they can have fun there at such a young age, maybe your grandaughter will, too.
However, keep in mind: If it's hot, she'll be antsy and uncomfortable.

I think you should. I was 8 when I saw the Dodgers play and I've been a fan ever since. Your grandaughter will enjoy it, if not she can always go on the merry go round.
