Guys never forget. But they do have tough exterior to protect their fragile ego. Those memories are etched into their brains like hard wired when they are in love. He couldn't get her out of his mind if he tried. But, he might not admit it -even to himself. If he forgets the girl and life is more distracting than thoughts of her - he wasn't really in love. Love is irrational and extreme some have said that it is borderline mental illness and it makes one do extreme things to hold on to it.

I would say once u love someone you always do holsd a place in your heart just for them! Love cannot just be turned off like a water fountain or light switch! Emotions are emotions and they tend to stay in our heart forever or atleast a very very long time! Forgetting a past love EASILY is NEVER easy!!! iT TAKES TIME AND MORE TIME TO HEAL.

when you dont see or talk to someone for a long time it is easy to get over them and forget about them...because then you have time to think about yourself and to stay busy.
