i'm newly wed. my problem is , i have a very irregular menstruation. my friends told me that its hard for women to get pregnant when she has irregular mentruation. and next year my husband will be coming home from USA to have his vacation and he only have 1 month to stay here in the philippines. and i really want to get pregnant when he comes home,(it will be our first baby). can any one advice me what to do? so that when he comes home i'm fertile. i really need some advice.

Hi Dear,Lot of women suffer from irregular periods.But that doesn't mean you cannot get pregnant.
Best thing you can start doing right now is start tracking your temperature at a fixed time daily before you get out of bed.The temperature usually remains stable throughout your monthly cycle and only rises just after ovulation.It then remains high till the first day of your period.This way you can pin point when is your fertile time etc.
White Fluid Discharge is also an indicator of fertility period.It protects the semen and helps it reach its destination.Use these two indicators to your best advantage.
When you are with your husband utilize all the info you have got and time your intercourse accordingly.Try having sex every alternative day till the white discharge completely stops.Make sure you keep lying down after intercourse to let the sperms reach their destination.Keep a pillow under your back to allow it to flow easily.
Also remember to start taking folic acid (400mg) when you are trying.Its helps the baby.:-)

Even if you have irregular periods I'd still try this method because on the month when you have a normal 28 day cycle you will totally increase your chances of becoming pregnant. Count 14 days from the 1st day of your last period and have sex day 13, 14 and 15. Or you can buy an ovulation predictor at a drug store. If you have irregular periods there are ways to tell when you ovulate and you can time it from there. You want to have sex when you're ovulating and producing that little bit of white stuff that comes out when you ovulate. That white stuff protects the sperm from the acidic ph of the vagina to give those little swimmies their best shot at reaching their destination. Have sex when that stuff is coming out and you're totally increasing your probability. There isn't any way to control your ovulation or make it happen when you want it to. Some months your body thinks you ovulated and you didn't. So, it can take some time. Good luck!

When we wanted to fall pregnant we were told to count 14 days from the time you start your period. From this time you should and your guy should not do anything (no sex or foreplay during this time). This will put you at your most fertile and him at his most potent. On the 14th day have sex. We had trouble concieving and we did this twice and we now have 2 healthy kids. The doc told us my wife would only carry 1 in 100 babies to term but we either got lucky or this really worked. Good luck.

Go to an OB and ask her when you will ovulate, there will be some timings and make sure that in that one month you don't miss that chance. Make sure you don't wash after sex, make the sperms stay there longer. And do it as often as possible. Make sure that when your husband arrives, he gets a lot of rest, this really helps...don't travel around, stay at home. God bless you.

Have sex. Trust me if he's been gone that long, you'll have no problem getting knocked up! : ) Good Luck. Yu can go to your gyno and ask when are your fertile days, and just tel them what you're trying to do. Your irregualr period should'nt be too much of a problem.

You really need to take a pregnancy test. If it is positive, then it would be 9months and 2weeks from your last period. If this was in October, then you should be about 3 1/2 months. You really need to be checked and get on prenatal vitamins.

No man can promise a 1 time wham bam thank you mame. But some men have a history of being extremely potent.
But with your body trouble who knows if that will even be enough.
